Study 1206
We are looking for overweight individuals to participate in a drug trial.
This study examines a drug currently in development for obesity and weight-related diseases. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the drug’s efficacy, safety, and tolerability compared with a placebo.
Target group: overweight individuals, ages 18 and older
Criteria for participation:
- Stable dose of weight-loss medication over the past 3 months (e.g., semaglutide, liraglutide, tirzepatide)
- A BMI of at least 30kg/m² or at least 27kg/m² with at least one weight-related condition (e.g., type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease)
- If you have type 2 diabetes, you must have been diagnosed at least 90 days ago and your treatment must be stable
- Stable weight over the past 3 months
- Previously tried to lose weight without success
- Not have type 1 diabetes
- No history of pancreatitis
- Be willing to use a double barrier method for heterosexual intercourse, i.e., condom/be sterile (men) AND have approved contraception/be sterile/postmenopausal (women)
The study will last approximately 74 weeks and includes a 2-week screening period, a 16-week dose-titration period, a treatment period of approximately 1 year, and a 4-week follow-up period. During the study, you will receive either the study drug or a placebo.
The study is free of charge, and travel expenses may be reimbursed.
