Blood sample study

Study 459

We are looking for healthy individuals, at least 18 years old, who can participate in a short blood sample study.

About the study

The blood you donate will be used for research. The blood sampling takes place at Kungsgatan 70D in Uppsala, and the visit takes approximately 30 minutes.

Target Group: healthy men and women, at least 18 years old

Compensation: 300 SEK after tax deduction for each visit for your participation.

You cannot participate in the study if you

  • Am I pregnant or breastfeeding?
  • Has a chronic illness or genetic disorder
  • Has an active allergy or is currently undergoing allergy treatment
  • Has been vaccinated within the last 21 days
  • Has an active infection (including COVID-19) and/or has been receiving treatment for it within the past 7 days
  • Has used nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, such as Ipren or Naproxen) in the past 7 days
  • Have taken acetaminophen (including Alvedon, Panodil) in the past 48 hours
  • Used corticosteroids in the past 7 days or applied a cortisone ointment in the past 48 hours
  • Has inflammatory lung diseases (e.g., asthma [if active and/or currently being treated] or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD))
  • Has an autoimmune disease (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), diabetes, celiac disease, or Addison's disease)
  • Has inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g., IBS, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease)
  • Has cardiovascular diseases (e.g., atherosclerosis, thrombocytopenia, or heart failure)
  • Does anyone have chronic inflammation (e.g., osteoarthritis, chronic pancreatitis, or hepatitis)?
