Method Development Study in Stockholm

Study 1016

We are looking for healthy individuals for a method development study.

In the study, white blood cells are collected using a standardized method called leukapheresis. The purpose of the study is to develop new treatment methods that could potentially be used in future cancer treatments.

Target group: healthy individuals, 18–64 years old

Criteria for participation:

  • Be healthy
  • Not be treated with medications that affect the immune system or the blood's ability to clot
  • Not have, or have a history of, bleeding disorders

The study consists of two visits. The first visit is a health check-up at our clinic in Solna. The second visit takes place at OptiCell Solutions in Huddinge, where you will provide blood from one arm via an intravenous catheter (a small plastic tube in the vein). The blood is centrifuged, separated, and most of it is returned to your body through an intravenous catheter in the other arm. In total, you will provide 150 ml of blood cells. This visit is estimated to take approximately three hours.

Compensation:

SEK 1950 in compensation for your participation.
