We are looking for healthy individuals for a PET study in Stockholm.
The purpose of the study is to find methods for gaining a better understanding of how early in the disease process nerve cells are affected, and how this knowledge can contribute to early detection and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
Target group: healthy individuals, aged 50–85
Criteria for participation:
- Be healthy
- Weigh less than 100 kilograms
- No history of cancer in the last 5 years
- Not be a smoker
- Do not have metal objects in your body
- No claustrophobia
- Not participated in another PET study in the last 12 months
- No family history of dementia among close relatives
- Refrain from donating blood during study participation
The study consists of four visits and a follow-up phone call over a period of three to six weeks. The first visit is a health check. The second visit involves an MRI scan, the third visit a PET scan, and the fourth visit an EEG scan.
The first visit takes place at CTC's clinic in Solna. Subsequent visits take place at Karolinska Hospital in Solna.

Compensation:
4500 SEK in compensation for your participation.
