Would you like to participate in a clinical trial and learn more about obesity and healthy living?

In this clinical trial, we will investigate how well the study drug is tolerated and how well it helps people living with obesity lose weight.

By participating in the study, you’ll have immediate access to care from qualified healthcare professionals for up to 16 months.

You may be eligible to participate in the study if:

• You are 18 years old or older
• Do you have a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher combined with a weight-related health problem such as high blood pressure, high blood lipids, cardiovascular disease, or sleep apnea?  
• you want to lose weight
• You can attend regular clinic visits and take phone calls for a period of up to 16 months

You will be asked to come in for 12 clinic visits and participate in 7 phone calls with study staff. You will receive tablets—either the study medication or a placebo—and take them daily. It is important that you continue taking your study medication throughout the study. You will also receive personalized advice on physical activity and diet in addition to the study medication.
