Study for People Who Use Snus Daily

We are looking for healthy adult users of nicotine pouches/snus to participate in a clinical study.

The purpose of the study is to compare the amount of nicotine absorbed into the bloodstream after the use of four variants of a nicotine tablet in healthy adults.

Target group: snus users aged 23–65

Criteria for participation:

• Be healthy
• BMI between 18.5 and 30 kg/m²
• Users of oral nicotine pouches/snus for at least two years
• Users of oral nicotine pouches/snus who have consumed at least 5 products per day over the past 30 days
• No plans to stop using nicotine-containing products within the next three months
• No use of nicotine replacement therapy
• Have not donated blood in the past three months
• Has not participated in another clinical trial in the past 30 days
• Be willing to use approved contraceptives, be sterile, or be postmenopausal, and not be pregnant or breastfeeding (women)

Participants will attend two visits to our clinic in Uppsala or Gothenburg over a period of 33 days: one health check-up visit and one test visit. During the test visit, you will stay overnight at the clinic for 4 nights and test different types of nicotine tablets.

Compensation: 12,000 SEK for your participation, plus travel expenses
